Eunice Irene Gordon, 82, of Athens, AL, passed away on Thursday, February 1st, 2024. She was born on December 1st, 1941, in Athens, AL, to Gather and Pearl (Roberts) Carter.
She is survived by her husband Gene Gordon; sons Randy Gordon (Leigh) and Byron Gordon; grandchildren Alex Gordon and Kala Gordon; great-grandchildren Bryson, Brock, Cayden, and Jackson; brothers Billy Carter and Bobby Carter; and sister Betty Bennett.
Mrs. Gordon is preceded in death by her parents Gather and Pearl Carter; son Brent Gordon; and several siblings.
The funeral for Mrs. Gordon will be Saturday, February 3rd, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home, with Eddie Littrell officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, February 3rd, from 12:00 to 1:45 p.m., at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Keith Bennett, Blair Davis, Michael Davis, Jeff Carter, Dale Christopher, and Ricky Christopher. Burial will be at Reunion Cemetery.
