Services for Eunice Hinson Gilchrist of Waynesboro, formerly of Montgomery, Alabama will be Saturday, December 8, 2012 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel in Waynesboro with Charles Chamblee and Richard Bane officiating. Burial will follow in Waynesboro Memorial Gardens
with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be Friday, December 7, 2012 from 5:00-9:00 PM and
Saturday from 8:00 AM until service time.

Mrs. Gilchrist was born May 9, 1929 in Grove Hill, AL the daughter of the late Frank Wright and Flossie Lee Cumalander Hinson Fredericks. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Gilchrist was preceded in death by her brother, Frank W. Hinson Jr. She was married to George G. Gilchrist December 23, 1944 and he preceded her December 6, 2010. Mrs. Gilchrist died Monday, December 3, 2012 at Wayne County Nursing Home in Waynesboro at the age of 83 Years, 6 Months, 24 Days. Mrs. Gilchrist was a retired sales person, selling Home Interior, Avon, crystal, and jewelry. Primarily she was a homemaker, providing a loving home for her husband and daughters. Mrs. Gilchrist was a loving teacher of the Word of God. She ministered to countless hundreds through the years and has many Spritual children all over the world. Mrs. Gilchrist was of the Assembly of God faith and a member of Victory Temple Church in Wetumpka, Alabama.

She is survived by two daughters, Sharon G. Mathers and husband Michael and Sandra G. Morgan and husband William; two grandchildren, Cindy Mathers and Jordan Kiddy all of Waynesboro, TN; a very special friend who was like her daughter, Christina Huett of Tallassee, Alabama.
