Miss Euna Jean Alexander passed away at Erlinger Hospital in Chattanooga, Tn. September 21, 2015 at the age of 84. She died from injuries she received from a fall.
Miss Alexander was born November 21, 1930 to Claude and Ethel Alexander. She graduated from Addison High School in 1949. Euna Jean attended Birmingham Business College, and went on to get her degree from Lee University in Cleveland, Tn. She moved to Chicago, Illinois after graduating, as many Winston County natives did to find work. Euna Jean worked in the Banking profession and retired from a successful career in the banking industry. Miss Alexander was an unique, business woman and invested in an apartment complex in Chicago, Illinois. She semi-retired and moved back to her hometown and to her beloved Addison Church of God that she grew up in. She continued to control her rental property from home with her nephew Jathan Fuentes of Chicago as manager.
Miss Alexander is survived by her sister, Ethelene Fuentes of Cleveland, Tennessee, two nephews, Preston Alexander and Jathan Fuentes, both of Chicago, Illinois; one niece, Cynthia Fluentes Pastor of Cleveland, Tn; and three great nephews and one great niece.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Claude and Ethel Alexander and her brother, James Alexander.
A memorial service will be held at the Addison Church of God Thursday, Sept. 24 at 7:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a charity of your choice.
