Eula Alcon Carter, 80, of Lexington, passed away surrounded by her family Wednesday, November 27, 2024. Eula was an amazing woman who will always be remembered for the love and devotion she showed to the families and children she Nannied for through her years.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 30th at 11am in Rogersville Funeral Home Cemetery. Isaac Brown will be officiating. Pallbearers will be John Morgan, Mike Hauck, Duane Carter, Carter Absher, William Carter and Paul Carter.
Eula is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Lillie Alcon; 4 brothers; and 2 sisters. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Kelly Carter; son, Duane (Melissa) Carter; daughter, Marissa Carter; 16 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brothers, David (Sonja) Alcon, Bobby Alcon, W.A. (Hazel) Alcon, Ray (Diane) Alcon, Billy (Sue) Alcon; sister, Fay (Jim) Downes.
The family would like to extend a special ‘thank you’ to Preferred Hospice for the love and care they showed Eula.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made to the Ronald McDonald House in Chattanooga, Tennessee in Eula’s memory.
