June 2, 1931 – July 6, 2013 Eugene R. Painter, age 82 of Huntsville, died Saturday. He retired from the Navy after 20 years of service as a Chief Petty Officer.
He is survived by his loving wife, of 57 years, Ruth Painter, 3 daughters, Tammy Kincer and husband Steve, Pamela Jones, and husband Ken, & Terrie Sharp and husband Dennis, son, CPO (ret) Randy Painter, sister Margie Painter, 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces & nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville, where the family will receive friends, Monday 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Services will be held Tuesday at 10:00 am in Spry’s Chapel. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery in Ryland.
