Eugene Morris Sharpston lll, 61 of Tuscumbia, passed away Monday November 26, 2012.
Visitation will be Wednesday November 28, from 5-9 pm at Colbert Memorial Chapel.
Funeral services to begin at 1:00 P.M. Thursday November 29 in the chapel, burial to follow at Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Brother Malcolm King and Buddy Mauldin officiating.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Pearline Sharpston, great-granddaughter, Abigail “ Abby” Nichols.
Survivors include his faithful soul mate for 29 years, Annie Landrum
Daughters, Candy Thomason ( John ), Denise Sharpston Yoc (Ty)
Grandchildren, Summer, Cayla, Zack, Edwin, Isabella, Julianna, Cristian and Eugene
Great grandson, Kalen.
Brothers, Roger Sharpston (Kim), Virgil Sharpston (Sandy), Michael Sharpston and honorary brother Buddy “Cherokee” Mauldin. Honorary sister, Diana Wilbanks (David).
Aunts, Geneva Thompson (Curtis), Mable Sharpston, Juanita Tuberfield and Betty Sharpston
Uncles, J.W. Jackson (Martha) and Robert Sharpston.
Two sister-in-laws, Susie Kelly and Janice Wright.
A host of loving nieces, nephews, family and beloved friends.
Pallbearers are John Thomason, Robert Miller, Thomas Walker, Stanley Givens, David Wilbanks and Larry Willis. Honorary pallbearers are, Marcus Kearley, Ty Yoc, Larry Kirby and Petey Bogue.
Mr. Sharpston retired from Golden Flake chips after 28 years of service, and a Little Debbie snack cake distributor for 14 years with routes in Florence and the Muscle Shoals area.
