Funeral Service for Eugene Lawrimore, 84 of Hartselle will be Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at 3:00PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Brent Lawrimore and Bro. Billy Bryan officiating with burial in the Hartselle City Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Tuesday from 1:00PM-3:00PM at the funeral home. Mr. Lawrimore passed away Saturday, May 18, 2024 at Hospice Family Care. He was preceded in death by his Father, Andrew Lawrimore and Mother, Sally Bailey Lawrimore, 4 Brothers, Raymond Lawrimore, Travis Lawrimore, Pete Lawrimore, and Eldred Lawrimore. Eugene went to school at Mount Hope in Lawrence County and Graduated from Falkville High School in 1957. He worked 3 years for Chemstrand, 8 years for 3M Company where he began to train as a boiler operator; and Dunlop Tire and Rubber where he spent 12 years as a boiler operator and Maintenance Supervisor. Eugene married Linda O’Barr Lawrimore in 1971. He was a Charter Member of First Faith Church in Falkville, AL. After retirement from Dunlop he spent 18 years in the family business (G&L Heating & Cooling). On and on he spent time building/ renovating houses and restoring Antique Tractors.
