Eugene Eldridge Puckett, 81, of Cherokee, Alabama, passed away Saturday, September 23, 2023. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 26th from 1:00 to 2:00 at Harris Chapel Baptist Church in Cherokee with Bro. George Henley officiating. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 with burial in Harris Chapel Cemetery.
Eugene was preceded in death by his parents, Lance Eldridge and Gurthie Marie Puckett. He is survived by his loving wife, Martha “Mot” Puckett; daughters, Kimberly Yancy, Michelle Puckett; sons, Paul Michael, Eric Puckett, Michael Puckett; brothers, Kenneth Puckett, Ernie Puckett; sisters, Brenda Hall, Gail Huff, Melissa Peterson; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Eugene was a truck driver with Yellow Freight, and a member of the Baptist faith.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
