Etridge “Did” Lee Barnett, age 85, Haleyville, AL. passed away Wednesday August 28, 2024. He was a man that enjoyed the simple things in life, having his family close and deer hunting. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church No. 2.
Visitation will be Sunday September 1, 2024 from 1:00PM – 2:00PM at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville, AL. Funeral service at 2:00PM in the chapel, with Bro. Joe Spiller and Bro. Ron Horton officiating. Burial to follow in Bethel Baptist No. 2 Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Blake Gardner, Hayden Barnett, Greg Barnett, Eli Barnett, Jeff Barnett and Jamie Barnett. Honorary pallbearers are Noah Barnett, Carson Barnett, Brayden Gardner and Collin Barnett.
He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Elton (Janice) Barnett, Johnny (Paulette) Barnett, Ellen Bates, Wanda (Jimmie) Harbin and Kathy (Gary) Gardner; sister in law, Gail Barnett; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Grady Arlon Barnett and Pernie Barnett; brother, Lacy Gene Barnett and Jimmy Barnett; and sister in law, Betty Barnett.
