Obituary of Dean Crum A Celebration of Life Service for Etha Dean Nelson Crum 93 is set for 2:00 pm Tuesday at Hatchie Chapel with Joe Duncan officiating. Burial will follow in the Hatchie Chapel Church Cemetery.

Family will receive friends Tuesday from 12:00 to service time.

Dean died Saturday, November 26, 2022 at NMMC in Tupelo, MS. she was born November 20, 1929 to the late Clester William and Rose Etha Nelson. She and her husband Bro. Floyd Crum were founding members of Hatchie Chapel Church; she was active in the church, serving as prayer room counselor. Over the years, she worked for the Red Cross, a beautician and for Alcorn Co. Schools in the cafeteria. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, cooking, and gardening and was an avid walker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, William Hugh Nelson; sister, Wilma Hodge.

She is survived by her husband, Bro. Floyd P. Crum; son, Floyd J. Crum; sisters, Lilly Mae Miles, Ilene Yager; special daughter, Tammy Roseberry Thornton; special friends, Jackie Crum, Courtney Bayless, Mildred Roseberry and Maxine Wilbanks; and a host of other family and friends.
