Esther Nix Profile Photo Esther Nix, age 98 of Irondale AL, passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at her residence. Services for Mrs. Nix will be Friday, May 24, 2024, at Crestway Baptist Church, at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time. Rev. James S. Wilson will be officiating the service. Norwood-Wyatt Chapel will be directing the service.

Esther Nix is preceded in death by her Parents: Rev J.A. and Bertha Kyzer, Husband: James Stanley Wilson Sr, Husband: Clarence Lovit Nix, Brothers: William Thomas, James Calvin, John Allen Kyzer, Sisters: Daisy Hitt, Clara Stoker, Francis Burton, Ruth Kowalski.

She is survived by son: Dr. James Stanley Wilson Jr (Faye), Step Son Eric Kyle Nix {Ferrill), Grandchildren: Christy Wyatt (Shane), Jamie Wilson, Amber Whitt (Michael), Great -Grandchildren: Jordan Wyatt Joy (Stephen), Jaxon Wyatt (Emily), Taylor Wilson, Lindsey Grace Wilson, Nathan Whitt (Maggie), Callie Whitt, Brooklyn Whitt, Great Great Grandchildren: Jack Wyatt, Mason Whitt, McKinley, Step Grandchildren: Bruce Rachael (Megan), Alan Nix, Craig Nix (Linda), Andy Nix (Meredith), Step Great Grandchildren: Sawyer and Taylor Rachel, Kathryn Nix, Sam Nix (Logan), Rachel (Mitchel), Will Nix (Natlia), Caroline Nix, Emily Nix, Austin Nix, Campbell Nix, Step Great Great Grandchildren: Ellie, Darcy, Theo.

Esther Nix was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on February 10th, 1926. She graduated from Tuscaloosa Senior High School in 1943. She was a dedicated Christian, wife and mother. She served as church pianist and R A director at Forest Lake Baptist Church. Esther was a homemaker and piano teacher, she loved the Lord, her family and her church and was a faithful member of Crestway Baptist Church the last seven ears of her life. She was a great cook and liked to show her love by serving delicious meals to friends and family (especially her yeast rolls). She was an avid golfer and a diehard Alabama fan. She is greatly missed by her family and many, many friends.
