Esther Joan Sanford Bennett, 73, of Parrish, passed away on July 1, 2016, at her residence.
Visitation will be held today, July 2, 2016, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Funeral Home parlor. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 3, 2016, at 3 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Funeral Home chapel. Burial will follow at Pleasant Field Cemetery in Parrish. William Tittle will officiate.
Mrs. Bennett was preceded in death by her son, Mike Alexander; daughter, Marcie Jacobs; brother, Ira Sanford; grandson, Derek Alexander; father, Ervin Madison Sanford; and mother, Pearlean Barrentine Sanford.
She is survived by her daughters, Delois Korki Carnes (Myles), Tina Harris (Tim Borden) and Cherie Naramore (Russell); son, Dennis Alexander (Stephanie); husband, Johnny Bennett; sisters, Patsy Lawson, Judy Tittle, Synolah Brown (Roy), Sandra Sanford, Marilyn Chappell (James) and Melody Lane (Daniel); brothers, Sonny Sanford (Pat) and Johnny Sanford (Dorcus); 21 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
