Mrs. Estell Mooney Whitehead, age 89 of Guntersville, died Wednesday surrounded by her loving family.
She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Whitehead.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth Whitehead Jr., and wife Cristina, three daughters, Betty Melton, and husband G.C., Barbara Cantrell, and Margaret Lee, and husband Roy, sister, Rozella Snow, 18 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 16 great-great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville, where the family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 PM Friday. A graveside service will be held Saturday, July 12, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Maple Hill Cemetery with Pastor Gregg Devries officiating.
