Ernest “Snookie” Kimbrell – Obituary

EarnestErnest “Snookie” Kimbrell , 73, of Trinity passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at his home after a short illness.
He was the son of Margaret and Clay Kimbrell. He is survived by one brother, William “Butch” Kimbrell. He leaves a wife of 51 years, Bonnie Terry Kimbrell. He also leaves two sons, Anthony “Tony” Kimbrell and Russell “Rusty” Kimbrell; one daughter, Cynthia Flack and husband, Joe Flack. He leaves behind two wonderful grandchildren, Hannah and Aubrey Flack, who he loved dearly, all of Trinity.

Ernest ran a small country grocery store in Trinity from 1959 to 1985. He went back to school and took heating and air conditioning and worked for Morgan County Board of Education for 20 years. He suffered a stroke in 2004 but continued to love and care for his family even then.

Funeral will be Friday, May 31, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Ridout’s Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.

We want to thank Hospice of North Alabama for their tender love and care during his illness. Also, to the daughters of Ruth from Beltline Church of Christ for their many visits.

He leaves many friends who he loved and who loved him. He will be missed, because he was loved.
