Ernest Ray Bragg of Huntsville passed away on Wednesday morning at his home. He was 75.
Mr. Bragg was a 1968 graduate of Sparkman High School. He then served in the United States Army. He was a kind, good man who loved others and adored his dogs – considering them his children.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sallie & Dess Holsonback and Jesse Carl Bragg; his sister, Joyce Robison; his brother, Billy Bragg; his niece, Bunny Daniels; a special person in his life, Scott Smithers.
Surviving family members include his sister, Glenda Null of Smyrna, Tennessee; His sister, Regina Shockley Whitley and her husband, Larry, of New Market, Alabama; He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and his special friend, Carol Hereford.
The family will celebrate Mr. Bragg’s life as they gather on Sunday from 11am until 2pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. After the visitation time, the family will have a private burial at Charity Cemetery.
Ernie will be rememberd for his kindness and willingness to help others who needed him, and his love for his family.
