Ernest Paul Lott, Sr., age 96, passed away peacefully Tuesday, June 22, 2021 in AHC Crestview Healthcare. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, June 25, 2021 at 1 PM in the Lea and Simmons Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Brownsville Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held Friday, June 25, 2021 in the Lea and Simmons Funeral Home, 11:30 AM to 1 PM. Mr. Ernest, affectionately known as Gandy by his grandchildren, loved his family and helping people. He loved Jesus and his church. He was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Brownsville, TN. He was a mechanic by trade, specializing in Ford tractors. He is survived by a son, Paul Lott, two daughters, Shirley Lott Roberts (Billy) and Bobbie Lott Morris all of Brownsville, TN, eight grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of seventy-three years, Syble Smith Lott, a son, James Robert Lott, his parents, Jesse Brown Lott, Sr. and Betty Ann Stanfill Lott, four brothers; Raymond Lott, Clyde Lott, Jesse Brown Lott, Jr., Lloyd Lott, four sisters; Cordie Russell, Mary Morrison, Betty Jean Warf, Doris Ann Carroll, a grandson, Pete Lott, a daughter-in-law, Donna Binkley Lott and a son-in-law, Jerry Morris. The family request in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to; First Assembly of God Church, 700 North Dupree Ave., Brownsville, TN 38012. All services are under the direction of Lea and Simmons Funeral Home.
