Ernest Gilbert Moebes, 90, of Decatur, passed away on December 14, 2022. His visitation will be on Saturday December 17th from 10 am until 11 am at Roselawn Funeral Home. His Celebration of Life will begin at 11 am in the chapel of the funeral home.
Burial will follow in Decatur City cemetery. Chris Martin is officiating.
He is survived by his wife of 74 years, Ila Jean, daughter, Deborah Reese(Eugene), grandsons, Marty(Mary) and Joseph Hyde(Brittany), 5 great-grand kids, nephews, nieces, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his daughter Suzette Lee, and granddaughter Gayla Reese.
Serving as pallbearers will be Eugene Reese, Marty Reese, Wilder Reese, Joseph Hyde, Jerry Moebes, and John Stallions.
Memorial gifts may be made to Fellowship Baptist Church.
