Mrs. Erin Rye Strain, at age 90 and after a full, productive life, peacefully met her Creator on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at the NMMC Hospice Unit. She lived much of her life in the Sulligent, AL area and had been a resident of Traceway Manor the last four years.
Mrs. Strain, a housewife and educator, is survived by two daughters, Jerri Ann Stallworth and Mary Spencer Higginbotham; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a brother and many friends at Traceway Manor who loved her dearly.
The family will celebrate her life in a private ceremony at Union Cemetery in Bruton, AL. There will be no local services. Condolences may be emailed to hollandfuneraldirectors@comcast.net.
