Eric Edward Bennett, 57, of Muscle Shoals, passed away June 11, 2024. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 18 from 1:00 – 2:00 pm at Williams Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 pm in the chapel with Bill Newman officiating.
Eric was preceded in death by his brother, Jeffery Alan Bennett; and father, Charles (Buddy) E. Bennett.
Survivors include his mother, Martha Haddock Bennett; sister, Melissa Bennett Gibbs (William “Bill”); nieces, Niki Odell, Jessica South (Steven); nephews, Jeremy Byrd, Christopher Blacklidge; seven great nieces and nephews.
Eric was a graduate of Muscle Shoals High School and a volunteer fire fighter. He was an outdoorsman and had a green thumb, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and especially bow hunting. Eric was a big Alabama football fan. He will be missed.
