Ercie Faye Terrell departed this life peacefully on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital at the age of 93.
Faye was born February 20, 1929 in Hardin County, TN to the late William Cordie and Mary Lou Ellar Harris Rinks. She was a graduate of Gadsden High School and a member of Pleasant Plains Baptist Church for many years. Having a great love for children, she worked as a teacher and therapist at the West Tennessee Cerebral Palsy Association. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who adored her family. Aside from spending time with her family, she found great pleasure in gardening and day lilies were her passion.
She is survived by her son, Ronnie Terrell (Patricia); daughter, Sharon Cantrell; granddaughter, LeEllen Williams (Eric); step-grandson, Daniel French; adopted granddaughter, Madison Henison; and great-grandchildren, Thomas Williams, Inez Williams, Josie Williams, Zadie Mae Williams, and Willow Rae Williams.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Ralph Terrell; second husband, Robert Spratlin; son-in-law, Bill Cantrell; two brothers; and one sister.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 30, 2022 at Highland Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel.
