Emma Ruth Williamson, age 83 of Hollywood, AL gained her heavenly wings on February 11, 2024 at Huntsville Hospital. Emma was the daughter of the late Walter and Mary Ellen Fennel Tucker. She was born January 11, 1941, in Hollywood, AL.
She worked at Goodyear/Acordis as a beamer operator until retirement. Emma lovingly called MaEmma, enjoyed spending time with family and spoiling her grandchildren as well as her great grandchildren.
Besides her parents, Emma Ruth was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Diane Williamson, Brothers: James Allen Tucker, Walter Tucker, Jr., Arthur Eugene Tucker, Billy H. Tucker, and Charles Dal Tucker. Sisters: Madoria Lee Tucker, Mary Louise McCamey, and Annie Jewel Allison.
She is lovingly survived by her daughter Syndra (John) Stewart of Hollywood, AL. Grandchildren; Jason (Laura) Stewart of Scottsboro, AL; Jermaine (Erika) Stewart of Huntsville, AL; Linda (Terrance) Taite of Hollywood, AL. Great Grandchildren: Demisha Stewart, Donavan Stewart, Marion Stewart, Madilyn Stewart, Johnathan Tolliver, Emma Stewart, and Lauren Taite. Sisters: Dorothy Tucker of Hollywood, AL and Joyce (Thomas) Davis of Scottsboro, AL; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at New Hope M.B. Church in Hollywood, Alabama from 1-2 PM. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 PM at New Hope M.B. Church with Rev. William Tibbs officiating.
