Emma Rodgers Staggs, age 69, of Loretto, TN passed away Sunday, July 14, 2013 at Saint Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN. She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired from Lauderdale Christian Nursing Home as a cook, and of the Church of Christ Faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cicero Reden and Hautie Lou Curtis Rodgers; her husband, Arthur Alfred Staggs; two sons, Alvin Wiley “Cowboy” Staggs and Arthur Eugene Staggs; one sister, Carlene Quillen; and two brothers, Curtis Odell Rodgers and Junior Rodgers.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 PM Wednesday, July 17, 2013, with John Gibbs officiating. Interment will follow at Spann Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN.
