Emma Mai Morrow Profile Photo Emma Mai Osborne Morrow passed away peacefully in her home on December 21, 2024, with her daughter and close friends by her side. She was born on October 9, 1941, to the late Malcome and Henrietta Philips Osborne in Columbia, Tennessee, where she lived her entire life.

Emma was married to her beloved husband, Billy Joe Morrow, for 47 wonderful years. She found joy and purpose in her work, holding many jobs throughout her life. Most notably, she devoted 35 years to Columbia Head Start as an Early Childhood Teacher, where she worked tirelessly to support children and their families before retiring. Emma was a strong and compassionate woman, dedicated to helping anyone in need.

Her love for animals and her flower gardens brought her endless happiness. Her roses were a special source of pride, blooming even in the coldest months. Emma also enjoyed music, shopping, and traveling to explore the world. Above all, she cherished her family, treasuring every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Those who will cherish her memory are her daughter, Lori (Kenneth) Morrow Pitts; her sons, Robin Morrow and Ricky Morrow; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and her brother, Jerry (Janie) Osborne.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Billy Joe Morrow; her son, Rodger D. Morrow; her sisters, Marie Haywood, Linda Turner, and Reba V. Pope; and her brother, Valton Osborne.

Emma will be laid to rest by her husband at Polk Memorial Gardens.

Emma’s memory will live on in the hearts of her family and all who knew her as a kind, generous, and loving soul.

The care of Ms. Emma Mai morrow and her family has been entrusted to the staff of Williams Funeral Home.
