Emma Lorraine Tucker, 85, of Falkville, AL, passed away on Thursday, March 27th, 2025, at Summerford Health and Rehabilitation. She was born in Leggtown, Alabama, on May 5th, 1939, to Gus and Nancy (Lewis) Amerson.
Mrs. Tucker is survived by her daughters, Linda Gail Nix (Jack) and Barbara Ann Russell; grandchildren, Kenneth Tucker (Tasha), Jennifer Tucker, Delilah Williams (Henry), Sabrina Jennings (Chris), Katrina Lazenby (Jason), Joshua Russell, Tosha Hastings (Brad), Daniel Johnson, and Jacob Johnson; fourteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Augusta Webster and Margaret Tucker; and brother, James “Sonny” Wesley Amerson.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Gus and Nancy Amerson; husband, Billy Tucker; children, Tommy Johnson, Ronnie Johnson, and Danny Johnson; and siblings Dorothy Freeman, Raymon Amerson, Sam Amerson, Leroy Amerson, Shirley Newton, and Lou Ella Ray;
The funeral service will be Tuesday, April 1st, 2025, at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home, at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be Monday, March 31st, 2025, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., at the funeral home. Burial will be at Antioch Cemetery.
