Emma Kate Sanderson, age 84, of Detroit, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, June 04, 2024, at her residence.
She was born in Sulligent, Alabama on Wednesday, December 13, 1939, to Clyde Lockhart and Brooksie Webb Lockhart.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Brooksie Lockhart, brothers, Auzzie Lockhart and Jeff Lockhart.
She is survived by her husband, Olan Alvin Sanderson; Sons,
Fray Sanderson, John F. Sanderson; daughter, Donna K. Sanderson; granddaughter, Christy (Josh) Pavlovec; grandsons, John Deven (Ashley)Sanderson, Bryant Byrd; great-grandsons, Jackson Pavlovec, John Luke Sanderson; great-granddaughter, Kylie Parlovec; sisters, Barbara Woods of Guin, Betty Sue Connor of Winfield; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The visitation will be1-2 p.m. Friday, June 07, 2024 at Marion County Funeral Home. Service will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Interment at Cooper Cemetery.
