Emma Ira Parker, 100 of Birmingham, passed away on September 23, 2024. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 26 from 1-2 PM at Roselawn Funeral Home with A Celebration of Life Service to follow at 2 PM in the Chapel with Rev. Danny Long officiating. She will be laid to rest at Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Parker is survived by her son Steven Parker of Birmingham, and stepdaughter Linda Jean Louks of Port Huron, Michigan, five step grandchildren and many great and great great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Clayton Parker, stepson Anthony Parker, parents Charles Walter and Theena Ellen Long, brothers Ferrell, Guy, LD, Charles Jr.,Hoyt, Bob,Bill and sisters Thelma, Daisy, Faye, and Ruby.
Those serving as pallbearers will be Charles Long, Joe Long, Wayne Long, Ronnie Long, Carl Jackson, William Berry and Peter Northcott. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Alzheimer’s Association.
