Emma Faith Clark – Obituary

Emma Faith Clark age 10 of Athens, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at St. Jude Hospital in Memphis, TN. Emma was born June 8, 2006 in Limestone County, AL to Michael Clark, Jr. and Katie Patton Clark.

Services will be Saturday, June 18, 2016 11:00 a.m., at Mt Pisgah Baptist Church with Dr. D. Juaken Dumas officiating. The body will lie-in-state from 10: 00 a.m. until 11:00. Visitation will be Friday, June 17, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mt. Pisgah Church Cemetery.

Emma was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, and attended Mt. Pisgah Baptist Academy. She loved cats and princesses; she loved people and had a contagious smile. Emma was a Cancer survivor at age 3 and had a relapse at age 9

Preceded in death by Michael Clark, Sr.

Survived by her parents, Michael and Katie Clark of Athens; one sister, Ashlyn Clark of Athens; grandparents, Arita Clark and Duane and Amy Patton of Athens; great-grandparents, Ronald and Ella June Craig of Athens, Mike and Virginia Pigott of New Mexico; great-great-grandparents, Lea Colpetzer of PA and Flossie Finnley of Athens; numerous cousins, nieces, uncles and aunts.

Pallbearers will be Arlen Davis, Bryan Barlock, Chris Watson, Jason Campbell, Jonathan Dumas and Dr. Keith Belvitch. Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Hofacker, John Hamilton, Mike Newby, Ronald Wallace and Donnie Saylors.
