Emma “Chippy” Louise Holt, age 87 of Winchester, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. A native of Franklin County, she was born on November 24, 1932 to the late H.C. and Cleo (Nunley) Frame. A dedicated homemaker, Louise was devoted to taking care of her family. She was known to all as “Mama Holt” during her R & D Creekside Market Days and will be especially remembered for her “Mama Holt’s Chili” served at Holt’s Diner. During her time spent at Franklin Manor, she truly enjoyed participating in all of the activities. Louise was a lifelong member of the Winchester Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Dillard Holt; daughter, Lori Ann Holt; and siblings, Mona Crabtree, and Billy Frame. She is survived by her loving children, Sheri (Rick) Sells of Wartace, Randy (Debra) Holt of Winchester, and Dennis (Melissa) Holt of Winchester; grandchildren, Russell (Sherri) Sells, Jason (Brittney) Sells, Christy (Travis) Thompson, Brandy (Kevin) Neely, and Greg (Stephanie) Sample; and great-grandchildren, Joe Sells, Luke Sells, Caleb Sells, Hayden Thompson, Nathan Sells, Alexa Thompson, Haylee Sample, Daniel Sells, Caleb Neely, and Brody Sample. Visitation will be from 12:00-2:00 pm on Sunday, February 9, 2020 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 pm in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with Bro.
