Emily was born on May 10, 2011, to parents, Lorin (Langston) and Will Chancellor and looked up to her older sister, Caroline. Emily loved spending time with her sister and the two shared a special bond. Emily was known as a quiet, determined, and brave girl. Her favorite hobbies were grooming her horse Pete, cooking with her family, and enjoying the country life with her many cousins. Some of her cherished memories include trips to the beach and weekends at her grandparents’ lake house.
Emily was intelligent, kind, and strong. She was an excellent student and a wonderful friend to many. Emily loved caring for all types of animals, especially her dog Harley. She was an avid reader and was faithful to her daily devotions. Her love for Jesus was evident, her faith steadfast, and she maintained a peace and assurance of His love for her throughout her illness.
Emily is survived by her loving parents, Will and Lorin, her sister Caroline, her grandparents, Stephen and Linda Langston and Jay and Lori Chancellor. She also is survived by her great-grandmothers, Dorothy Langston, Annice Howard and Peggy Bledsoe (Johnny) and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
