Emily “Em” Rose Hunt, age 16, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Saturday, September 28, 2024, She was a native of Lawrenceburg, TN, a student at Loretto High School, a member of the LHS Soccer team and New Prospect Baptist Church. She was an avid fisherman and drag racing enthusiast. She had plans to become a cosmetologist.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Edgar Hunt, Bill Dowdy, and Jackie Moore; and her aunt, Renee Bunt.
She is survived by her parents Andy and Kim Moore Hunt of Lawrenceburg, TN; one sister Abby Hunt (Samuel Sylvester) of Lawrenceburg, TN; grandmother, Nancy Hunt of Leoma, TN; grandmother Kathy Dowdy of Lawrenceburg, TN; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Those serving as pallbearers are Wyatt Hooper, Chase Hooper, Cayden Ingram, Peyton Hunt, Aaron Hunt, and Hudson Ward.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM Tuesday, October 01, 2024, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 PM Tuesday, October 01, 2024, with Harley Simbeck and Dennis Hood officiating. Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN.
