Emily Adams Jones, 90 of Vestavia, entered into rest on April 8, 2022 in McCalla, Alabama. Mrs. Jones was born on July 19, 1931 in Double Springs to Jessie Adams and Maude Godsey Adams. Mrs. Jones loved God, music, especially Sacred Harp; she loved nature and animals of all kinds as well as working in her yard; she loved her family and especially her husband and children.
Visitation will be Monday, April 18, 2022 from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Double Springs, where services will be at 2:30 pm Brother Anthony Gilbreath will officiate. Burial will be at Shady Grove Cemetery.
Emily is survived by her son, Oscar W. (Buddy) Jones III and his fiancee Ginger George; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar W. (Bud) Jones, Jr.; parents, Jessie and Maude Adams; daughter, Emily J. Kuzmicki, and seven siblings
