Emanuela Frye, age 93 of Winchester, passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2022 at The Waters of Winchester. She was born on April 27, 1929 in Gela, Sicily to the late Frank and Nicolina (Incorvaia) Salerno. Before her retirement, Emanuela had been employed at Franklin County High School in cafeteria services. In her spare time, she enjoyed growing flowers and plants, especially her roses in her yard. She also enjoyed cooking and loved owls. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel E. Frye. Emanuela is survived by her loving children, Frank Caccoma of Hyde Park, New York, Daniel S. Frye of Winchester, and Donna (Richard) Alford of Panama City Beach, Florida; step-daughter, Darlene (Dennis) Greene of Old Bethpage, New York; and six grandchildren. Visitation will be from 2-3 pm on Monday, December 26, 2022 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 3:00 pm in the Moore-Cortner Chapel. Interment will be at Franklin Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Muscular Dystrophy Association or St Jude Children’s Hospital.
