Funeral services for Elton Wayne Weeks, 79 of Corinth are set for Thursday, November 21, 2024 at 2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home – South on HWY 45 South with interment in Harmony Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, November 21, 2024 from 12pm-2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home – SOUTH on HWY 45 South. Bro. Mark Jones will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Larry Thomas, Jerry Thomas, Jeff Thomas, Teddy Morgan, Todd Carter and Joey Norton. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Knight, Joey Weeks and George Martin. Born April 22, 1945 in Phil Campbell, AL, Mr. Weeks passed from this life on Sunday, November 17, 2024 at North MS Medical Center in Tupelo. He was a retired foreman for Halls of MS. Wayne was of the Baptist faith and a member of Harmony Hill Baptist Church. He loved spending time with his family, and enjoyed playing music, being outside, watching westerns and fishing. He was an avid ALABAMA fan. Wayne is survived by his wife of 59 years, Sarah Weeks; son, Kacey Weeks; daughter, Janae Bullock (Tony); 2 grandchildren, Courtney Weeks and Michael Bullock; brother, Joey Weeks (Cindy): very special friend to the family Sherri Smith; other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Walter Weeks; mother, IV Weeks; brothers, Ronal Weeks and Donal Weeks; paternal grandparents, David Francis Weeks and Susanna Braggs Weeks; maternal grandparents, Matthew Thomas and Mary Lou Warhurst Thomas and in mother and father-in-law: Glyn McFarland and Doris McFarland.
