Elsie Beyersdorf Morris , 83, of Cherokee, passed away on August 27, 2013.Visitation will be Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home Cherokee. The funeral service will be Saturday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with G.W. Endicott officiating. Burial will follow in the Cherokee Memorial Park.
She was retired from U.S. Postal Service as a clerk. She was a member of the Lions Club and the Cherokee Methodist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husbands, James Delbert Beyersdorf and Walker Morris; and her son Steven Beyersdorf.
She is survived by her sons, James Stanley Beyersdorf and Anthony Dale Beyersdorf; sister, Lois Endicott; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
