Eloise Humphres, 96, passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at the Red Bay Hospital. She was born in Winfield, AL to Morty and Ophelia Warren. She worked as a seamstress for many years.
Funeral services will be Friday, June 28, 1 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Ronald Watson officiating. Burial will be in Pilot Hill Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her daughter, Ann Green; grandchildren, Deana Vallejo, Kathy Moomaw and Bob Green; great-grandchildren, Kyle Green (Sara), Ali Green (Richie Whitehouse), Talon Vallejo (Elaina), Bobby Green (Kayla), Dalton Green (Karli), Ashley Devis (Rick), Chana Blunt, Chase Green (Megan) and Braden Moomaw and twelve great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Humphres; her parents; brothers, Cecil, Lecil, Ecil and Ellis Warren and her sisters, Nelloween Martin, Ellen Jackson, Jimmie Armstrong and Shirlene Delaney.
Pallbearers will be Kyle Green, Talon Vallejo, Bobby Green, Dalton Green, Chase Green and Braden Moomaw. Honorary pallbearers will be Richie Whitehouse, Ali Green, Ashley Devis and Chana Blunt.
Visitation will be Thursday, June 27, 6-9 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.
