Funeral service for Elna Levonne East, 80, will be Friday, March 12, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Corey Morrow and Bro. Jerry Hall officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Fields Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, March 11, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mrs. Elna East passed away peacefully from this life on Tuesday, March 9, 2021, at her residence, surrounded by her family. She was born June 27, 1940, in Morgan County to Willis Brown and Onnie Lamons Brown. She was a lifelong resident of Lacey’s Spring, Alabama. She was a Bus Driver for the Morgan County Schools, for 25 years, prior to her retirement. She was married over 64 years and was abundantly blessed with family and loved ones. She enjoyed working in her flower gardens and cherished all of her animals. She truly had a servant’s heart and loved unconditionally. She will be missed by many.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers: Willie and Eddis, two sisters: Flora and Lurlene, one son: Jimmy East, one grandson: Aaron Thompson and one granddaughter: Emerald Yoder.
