Elna Kathleen Cook, age 88 of Haleyville, Alabama passed away Thursday, September 10, 2020. She was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church in the Wiley Branch Community.
Visitation will be Monday, September 14, 2020 from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville, AL. Funeral service will begin at 3:00 p.m., with Anthony Sparks, Leslie Sartin and Ferlon Baker officiating. Burial to follow in Bethel Cemetery in the Wiley Branch Community.
Ms. Cook is survived by her children, Danny (Stella) Cook, Randel Cook, Edwin Cook, Melody (O’Neal) Adair and Celena Watson; grandchildren, Sylvia (Andrew) McCullar, Christopher (Zena) Adair, Elizabeth Cook, Laura (Seth) Manasco, Alishia Adair, Jacob Edwards & Melena Ward; and great grandchildren, Mason Holbrook, Haylee, Mia & Neela Adair, Zoey & Easton McCullar.
She is preceded in death by parents, Olen & Frolee Crumpton Walker; brothers, Quinton & James Walker; sisters, Lafaria Bridgmon, Essie (Pat) Tipton, Derethea Tomlinson, Maudie Mashburn & Carolyn Massey; son-in-law, Neal “Gippy” Watson; grandson, Timothy Lee Cook; and granddaughter, Christy Lynn Cook.
