Elna Jane Jewell Lindsey passed away on December 18, 2023. There will be a graveside service on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at 2 PM at Midway Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Lindsey was born in Limestone County to parents Clayton B. Jewell and Edith Perry Jewell. She was a member of The Church of Christ. She was retired from the State of Alabama.
She is survived by her sons Charles Wesley Lindsey, Kendall Edward Lindsey (Carol), grandsons Jonathon Clay Lindsey and Zachary Adam Lindsey, sister Thelma White, brother Ronald C. Jewell, several nieces, nephews, cousins and her beloved dog Cleopatra.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles H. Lindsey, brothers Virgil Howard Jewell, and James Edward Jewell, sisters Mildred Jewell, and Ruby Nadine Jewell.
