Elmer Lee Marlar, 92, of Iuka, MS, died Saturday, June 25, 2016 at Tishomingo Manor Nursing Home in Iuka. Mr. Marlar worked as a farmer and logger, and retired from Gateway Corp. in Corinth. He enjoyed walking and sitting on the Corinth Court House Square and talking to everyone who came by. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 9:00 p.m., Sunday, June 26, 2016, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Glen. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 27, 2016, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Glen. Interment will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers include Tanner Marlar, Brett Marlar, Josh Marlar, Tim Marlar, Michael Marlar, and Brad Marlar. Cutshall Funeral Home of Glen, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by four sons, Leroy (Ouida) Marlar, Jerry (Becky) Marlar, Jessie (Debra) Marlar, and Danny (Sheila) Marlar; 8 grandchildren, Brett Marlar, Tabitha Lauderdale, Chris Marlar, Josh Marlar, Tim Marlar, Jessica Null, Michael Marlar, and Brad Marlar; and 14 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis E. Marlar and Michel Brown Marlar; eight brothers and sisters, Stella Hudson, Vostie Grissom, Grace Hester, Bantie Milligan, Mattie Gray, Henderson “Pete” Marlar, Sid Marlar, Clifton Marlar, and two infants.
