Ellis I. “Sonny” Nichols, 88, of Killen died Wednesday, October 18, 2017.
Visitation will be Monday, October 23, 2017, 10-11 AM at Elkins Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 11 AM in the Chapel with Bro. Chris Moran officiating. There will be a private burial following.
Mr. Nichols was retired from TVA as a pipefitter and was a member of Pipefitters and Steamfitters Local #760. He was a member of Sheffield Masonic Lodge #803. He loved to stay busy with his wood working.
Mr. Nichols was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Nichols; son, Mike Nichols; parents, Ellis and Irene Nichols.
Mr. Nichols is survived by his daughters, Pam Hancock and Deborah Nichols; son, Chris Nichols; brother, Johnny Nichols; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
