Mr. Elliott Lebronze Hinton  Elliott Lebronze Hinton was born December 3, 1993, in Huntsville, Alabama to Zebra Lebronze Hinton and Beltha Pates Hinton.

Elliott attended Oakwood Elementary, Oakwood Adventist Academy (OAA), Oakwood University and graduated from the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) with a Bachelor’s in Finance. He was a member of the Harvest Seventh-day Adventist Church in Harvest, Alabama and was active in several of the youth programs and   activities. While in school he played basketball for the OAA Mustangs Basketball Team, sang in the Academy choir, and played the violin in the Elementary Ensemble. During his time at UAH, Elliott served on the Student Government Association as the Director of Multicultural Affairs and was also a member of the UAH Finance Club.

Elliott was a joy to be around, and he loved to have fun and enjoy life.  He was a ray of light to many, and thoughtful of others. While at Oakwood Academy, he and his friends, Phillip Leslie II, Charles White III, and Stephen Adam Sylvester, Jr. organized a Stop The Hunger food event in which students and volunteers prepared food packages for families in need. This successful event was one of Elliott’s most fulfilling community projects that made a difference with providing for others in need.

He had a spirit of tenacity and perseverance and never gave up on what he wanted to do in life. Elliott gave back to his community by serving on the OAA Alumni’s Association Board of Directors and served as the Coach for the Oakwood Elementary 3rd & 4th Grade Boys Basketball Team. He relocated to Charlotte, NC upon graduating where he began his professional career as a Corporate Credit Analyst at Regions Bank and then with the Bank of America as a Senior Financial Analyst. Elliott continued his love of serving the community when he was elected as Treasurer for the Charlotte Chapter of the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA), where he served faithfully until his passing. He had a big heart and gave to those who were in need whenever he could, and most of all he loved his family. Anyone that knew him can attest to how infectious his energy and laughter was to those around him and his love for traveling which he was able to experience many times over with his new    family of friends and village that he cultivated in Charlotte, NC.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Willie “Bill” Pates and Abram Hinton, Jr.; his uncle, Bryan Pates and brother Jackie Dwayne Seymore, Jr.  He leaves to    cherish his loving memory, his mother, Beltha Pates Hinton; his father, Zebra Lebronze Hinton, Huntsville, AL; brother, Shawn Hinton (Brianna), Loma Linda, CA; grandmothers: Mary Pates and Sara Hinton, Huntsville, AL; uncles: Reginald Pates (Diana), Billings, MT, Timothy Pates (Dedra), San Tan Valley, AZ, George Pates (Candace), Belle Mead, NJ, Pastor Bobby Mitchell (Imelda) Huntsville, AL, Lester Fletcher (Nella), Decatur, AL; aunts: Belinda Pates McComb, Huntsville, AL, Janet Pittman, South Bend, IN, Sabrina Brown, Francesca Battle, Charita Hinton, Huntsville, AL, Ann Hinton-Conner (Trent), Grand Prairie, TX; great aunts: Ruth Lee, Delores   Walker, South Bend, IN, Bernice McBride, Huntsville, AL, Mary Ann McBride, Southaven, MS, Mary Cotton, Huntsville, AL, Lois Pickett, Decatur, AL Maggie Love, Decatur, AL, Catherine Davis, Decatur, AL, Evelina Brown, Hawthorne, CA, Angela   Morton and Earnestine Toney, Huntsville, AL; a special cousin Myles McComb, Charlotte, NC; and a host of cousins, dear friends, and loving relatives.
