Ellen Sue Foster, age 83, Bear Creek, AL. passed away Wednesday December 4, 2024. She was retired from Phillips Schools having worked as Secretary for 25 years and a member of Mountain Home Church of Christ.
Her visistation will be Monday December 9, 2024 from 11:00AM – 1:00PM at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville, AL. Funeral service at 1:00PM in the chapel with Lee Barnett and Vance Hutton officiating. Burial to follow in Mountain Home Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Ray Sherman Foster; sons, Randal Ray Foster (Benita) and Mark David Foster (Debbie); grandchildren, Ashley Nicole Lovett ( fiance` Joey), Ryan David Foster and Tyler Daniel Foster; great granddaughter, Elora Claire Lovett; sister in law, Virginia Pickard; a host of nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elijah and Minnie Lee Pickard; sisters, Elnora Hyde (Freeman) and Melberta Bishop (Marvin); brothers, Denver Pickard (Frances), J.D. Pickard (Lutine), Russell Pickard (Fayrene), Willard Pickard (Perlie) and Wayne Pickard.
