Mrs. Ellen Louise Bush Hall, age 96, of Sumiton went home to be with the Lord on May 2, 2023, at her home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 5, 2023, at 11 AM from the chapel of New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home with Pastor Charlie Lloyd officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. Burial will follow in McCormack Cemetery in Dora. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents Calvin O. and Willie Lee Bush, her husband of 71 years, Maxwell Scott Hall, Sr. and a host of siblings.
Survivors include her daughters Donna (Richard) Mitchell, Susanne Hall Tubbs, Roberta (Billy) Dollar; sons Maxwell Scott Hall, Jr., William S. (Kathy) Hall and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Mike Lawler for his help with mother and dad.
