Ella Rine (McCulloch) Bonds Mrs. Ella Rine McCulloch Bonds was born in Russellville, AL on March 11, 1930 to the late Mr. Oscar Lee McCulloch and the late Mrs. Lizzie McCulloch. On September 22, 2024, Mrs. Bonds gained her heavenly wings in the comfort of her home in Russellville, AL. She is preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Junior Ford Bonds, her son, Mr. William Roy “Legg” McCulloch, daughters, Mrs. Beatrice Randolph, Mrs. Ella “Louise” Hamilton, and Ms. Francis Ann Bonds; her parents, Mr. Oscar Lee McCulloch, and Mrs. Lizzie McCulloch; her siblings, Mr. Mason McCulloch, Mr. Anderson McCulloch, Mr. Fred McCulloch, and Mrs. Adella Nance.

Mrs. Bonds accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of First Baptist Church, College Ave, Russellville, AL, where she was a very faithful member until her health declined.

Mrs. Bonds attended Reedtown High School in Russellville, AL. She was married to the late Mr. Junior Ford Bonds on January, 22, 1947. Together, they raised nine children. Affectionately known as “Muh” (Madear), Mrs. Bonds was a loving and caring homemaker, faithful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend who was always there for her family.

Mrs. Bonds leaves to cherish her memories two sons, John “Duke” (Denisha) Bonds and Jimmy Bonds of Russellville, AL; daughters, Liz Bonds, Sandra Bonds, and Linda Bonds all of Russellville, AL; one brother, Oscar (Margaret) McCulloch of Russellville, AL; one brother-in-law, Daniel Suggs of Russellville, AL; a host of grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mrs. Bonds had a very humble and compassionate spirit and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. God has truly gained another angel in Heaven.
