Ella Faye Holland – Obituary

Ella Faye Holland, 85, died Monday, January 14, 2019 at North Al. Medical Center, Florence, AL. She was born April 12, 1933 in Vina, AL and worked at Wrangler for twenty-five years. She was a member of Pilot Hill Baptist Church, Vina, AL.

Services will be Thursday, January 17, 11 a.m. at Pilot Hill Baptist Church, Vina, AL with Bro. W.D. Humphres and Bro. Jerry Humphries officiating. Burial will be in Pilot Hill Cemetery, Vina, AL. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.

She is survived by three children – Deborah Jones (Johnny), Danny Holland (Bridget) and Dennis Holland (Margaret); ten grandchildren – Jennifer Coman (Quan), Jill Holland (George), Andy McCarley (Jennifer), Lakesha Holland (Radley), Johnine Rhodes (Bradley), Tyson Holland (Erica), Morgan Holland (Kerry), Auston Holland, Patches Shaffer (Chris) and Lindsay Evans (Jeremy); sixteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one sister – Marsha Smith; one step-brother – G.A. McNeese and lifelong friend – Lora “Clem” Marbutt.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Holland, her father, Floyd M. Coats, her mother, Lillian Oliver Coats, step-mother, Esie McNeese Coats, two step-sisters, Dot Camp and Bernell Long and one step-brother, Doug McNeese.

Pallbearers will be Radley Holland, Bradley Rhodes, Tyson Holland, Quan Coman, Andy McCarley, Auston Holland, George Bush and Kerry McCollum.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 16, 6-9 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL and she will lie in state Thursday, January 17, 10-11 a.m. at Pilot Hill Baptist Church.
