Ella Faye Hammock, age 69 of Manchester, passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at St. Thomas Rutherford Medical Center in Murfreesboro. She was born on January 30, 1955, in Winchester to the late Lillard and Lillian (Medley) Wilcox. A dedicated homemaker, Ella was the rock and foundation of her family. With her loving and caring nature, she always made sure that everyone was taken care of, especially her family and friends. She enjoyed playing bingo and the lottery. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Billy Wilcox, James Wilcox, Mackie Wilcox, Lillard Wilcox, William Wilcox, Sue Wilcox, and Farcie Wilcox; and grandmother, Toni Smartt. Ella is survived by her husband of thirty-five years, Albert Hammock; children, David Thomas (Shelia), Daniel Thomas (Anastasia), Cassidy Thomas, Coty Thomas, Aliyah Thomas, Austin Thomas, and Austin Taylor; brother, Tony Wilcox; grandchildren, Isayah Thomas, Danyell Thomas, Kathryn Thomas, Tylur Thomas, and Megan Young; great-granddaughter, Maggie Hanley; and nieces and nephews, Abby Wilcox, Edna Wilcox, Eric Wilcox, Billy Ray Wilcox, Ethan Wilcox, Jason Wilcox, and Brandy Wilcox. Visitation will be from 12-2 pm on Friday, September 6, 2024, at Watson Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00pm in the Roy B. Watson Chapel of Watson Funeral Home.
