ELKMONT-The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department issued a statement concerning the arrest of a suspect last week who has been charge with numerous drug related charges:
“On November 7, 2022, the Limestone County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit conducted an operation in Elkmont, AL. Narcotics investigators located over one pound of Methamphetamine, nearly $8,000 in US Currency, two firearms, Oxycodone pills, and Marijuana in a vehicle occupied by Christopher Ricky Gibbs. The Carroll County Georgia Sheriff’s Office recently reported one of the guns as stolen. Gibbs, a convicted felon from Gadsden, AL, has been charged with the following:
-Drug Trafficking
-Two counts of Possession of a -Concealed Weapon Without a Permit
-Possession of a Controlled Substance
-Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
-Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree
-Two counts of Possession of a Pistol by a Drunk/Addict
-Receiving Stolen Property 2nd Degree
Christopher Ricky Gibbs is being held in the Limestone County Detention Center on a $60,000 bond.”
