December 28, 1950 – August 20, 2022

Rouge, 71, of Rainbow City passed away on August 20th after a long battle with Parkinson’s and Dementia. Rouge was born in New Orleans, LA on December 28,1950 to Estelle and Robert Weir. She attended Tuscaloosa Central High School.

Rouge married Hal Davidson, and together they had two children, Leah and Nicole. In her adult years, Rouge went back to college and got her degree in accounting and received her CPA license all while working full-time. She worked as a CPA for many years before retiring due to her diagnosis. She enjoyed sewing, yoga, and being a grandmother which was her greatest joy. Rouge was also a longtime member of St. James Catholic Church.

Rouge is predeceased by her father, Robert and sister, Jude. She is survived by her husband Hal, daughter Leah (Dewayne) Smith of Acworth, GA, daughter Nicole (Scott) Stansell of Birmingham, and 7 grandchildren, Madison, Noah, Emma, Claire, Tucker, Stella, and Henry, her mother Estelle, as well as 4 sisters and a brother, and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at St. James Catholic Church on September 2nd at 1:30 with a luncheon to follow.
