  Elizabeth Reed Baddour passed away from an extended illness on Friday, August 21, 2020, at her residence in Brownsville, TN. She was 92 years of age. Graveside Services will be held on Sunday, August 23, 2020, at 2:00 PM at the Brownsville Memorial Gardens in Brownsville, TN, with Dr. James Coffman and Rev. Anne Emory officiating. Mrs. Elizabeth Baddour was born on August 14, 1928, in Ripley, TN. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a homemaker and loved entertaining friends and family in her home. She had a passion for life and was a friend to everyone. It brought her great pleasure in doing things for other people. She was a long-time member of the First Presbyterian Church in Brownsville, TN. Mrs. Baddour is survived by two daughters, Annette Baddour Hill (Larry) of Brownsville, TN; Amy Elizabeth Baddour of Birmingham, AL; one sister, Aeolian Reed Chapman of Brownsville, TN; one grandchild, John Reed Hill (Marie) and three great-grandchildren Louis Baddour Hill, Florence Suzanne Hill, and Jennings Marie Hill, all of Jackson, MS. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis D. Baddour, Jr.; her parents William Gilford and Olivia Thornley Reed and one brother, William Gilford Reed, Jr. Pallbearers for the graveside service include: Hal Jarrett, Dr. Michael Cobb, Ray Denika, Frank Chapman, Tommy Chapman, Michael Edwards, Mark Franklin, Robert Rooks, and Ed McClanahan. The family wishes to express their sincere love and appreciation to Luzette Rucker, Ola Jean Currie, Ruby West and Annie Jones for their loving care for many years as her caretakers. Also the family wishes to express appreciation to the staff of West Tennessee Hospice for their excellent care. Memorials in her memory are requested to First Presbyterian Church, 109 W. College, Brownsville, TN, 38012; West TN Hospice, 1804 Hwy 45 Bypass, Jackson, TN, 38305; or The Baddour Center, 626 Baddour Blvd, Senatobia, MS, 38668. All services and arrangements are under the direction of the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home in Brownsville, TN.
