Elizabeth Nipper, age 91, of Springfield, passed away Saturday, October 19, 2024 at her home. Funeral services will be conducted at 1pm Wednesday, October 23rd, in the chapel of the Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield with Bro. Gary Dillard and Bro. Steve Freeman officiating. Burial will follow in the Springfield Memorial Gardens with Darren Hallman, Bruce Traughber, Dylan Hendrix, Micah Hendrix, Ronnie Garrison, J.P. King, Jason King, and Matthew Pisz serving as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers are Jordan Hendrix, Bobby Jarratt, Jimmy Jarratt, John Jarratt, and Tommy Jarratt.
The family will receive friends from 11am until time of the service at 1pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Nipper was born March 8, 1933 in Robertson County, to the late Curtis and Theresa Dickens Fehrman. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant for many years.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Nipper was preceded in death by her sons, John Jay Stroud, and Gary Lee Nipper; brothers, Billy Fehrman, and Buddy Fehrman; and a sister, Helen Webster.
She is survived by daughters, Sheila Ann (Tommy) Smith, and Jennifer Beth Newcomb; grandson, Jimmy (Serene) Hendrix; great grandsons, Dylan Hendrix, Micah Hendrix, and Jordan Hendrix; brothers, Robert Fehrman, James Fehrman, and David Fehrman; and sisters, Maxine Rosenbergar, Frances Russell, and Carolyn Allen.
